In this submission, Leny Verbunt reflects on the atrocities of Victoria’s colonisation and the resulting intergenerational trauma. They criticise the lack of education on First Nations history in schools and advocate for more respect and education. They suggest non-First Nations Victorians engage with Indigenous culture and support autonomy for First Peoples.
