Submission – Richard Frankland

Richard Frankland is a Gunditjmara man and an acclaimed playwright, scriptwriter, and musician. In this submission, he recounts his career using art to amplify the voices of First Nations people. He was an investigator for the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody and speaks on issues such as trauma, lateral violence, cultural safety, and his vision for a “Tomorrow Australia.”
