Public Hearings: 27 May – 31 May 2024

The purpose of these hearings was to gather evidence from representatives of Ngaweeyan-Maar-oo about Closing the Gap implementation in Victoria; the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation and Professor Raymond Lovett about health inequalities and barriers facing First Peoples; and the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria about the social justice issues that are addressed in this hearing block.

This was the first of four weeks of health, housing, education and economic justice.
