Submissions to Yoorrook Justice Commission are now closed
Thank you for sharing your truths
The Commission asked individuals and organisations to share their contributions in person with Truth Receivers and Commissioner and online - as a written submission, images, audio or video content, or through a truth-telling object such as an artwork, cultural artefact, or photo.
Yoorrook is honoured to have spoken with thousands of community members since it commenced.
Yoorrook is Victoria’s truth telling inquiry and the first of its kind in Australia. The Royal Commission is scheduled to run until June 2025, and will make recommendations to end the injustice faced by First Peoples and create a better future for all Victorians.
Yoorrook reserves the right not to publish all or part of a submission if it considers it inappropriate to do so. By publishing a submission, Yoorrook expresses no opinion about the content or accuracy of the submission or material referred to in the submission.
