Description:

The Media Relations Advisor is responsible for executing media strategies that drive awareness of and deep engagement with Yoorrook’s inquiry, particularly with First Peoples and other key stakeholders.

Research and Policy Positions

Description:

We appreciate and have been overwhelmed by the volume and calibre of candidates who have expressed an interest in research and policy roles with Yoorrook.  We have paused recruitment into these roles in this first stage of Yoorrook’s journey as we prepare for our interim report.  You may still wish to forward your details for future opportunities that may arise.  Yoorrook is committed to prioritising the employment of First Peoples. 

Yoorrook is looking for committed and flexible Research and Policy professionals across various areas of expertise and experience levels, to assist in the operation of the Commission. Yoorrook’s Research and Policy staff will conduct, analyse and synthesise research from a wide range of sources, draft issues and options papers and draft recommendations to contribute to Yoorrook’s interim and final reports.

Yoorrook’s Letters Patent requires it to prioritise the employment of First Peoples. First Peoples are strongly encouraged to apply for all roles at Yoorrook.
