Proud Kerrupmara Gunditjmara man, Commissioner Travis Lovett will walk from Portland to Parliament in an effort to bring Victorians together as part of the state’s truth-telling process.

The Yoorrook Justice Commission has welcomed the passing of new legislation, the Inquiries Amendment (Yoorrook Justice Commission Records and Other Matters) Act 2025 (Vic) which responds to recommendations made by Yoorrook.

Yoorrook Justice Commission Deputy Chair Travis Lovett will walk 370 kilometres from Gunditjmara Country in Portland to the Victorian Parliament on Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung Country in May and June 2025.
