Friends of Yoorrook

Yoorrook Justice Commission invites all Victorians to help amplify First Nations truth-telling across Victoria.

Yoorrook will provide you with shareable posts around truth-telling, historic moments and educational information to share with your family, friends and networks.

We can't change the truth of our past, but by accepting and understanding it, we can walk together to a better shared future. For First Peoples and for all Victorians.

The true path forward starts here. We invite you to join it.

I'm Walking for Truth! Will you Walk for Truth?

From 25 May to 18 June, the Yoorrook Justice Commission Walk for Truth will step its way from Portland to Parliament.

It aims to bring everyone together to walk toward truth, celebrate the strength and resistance of Aboriginal people, and be proud to have the oldest living culture in the world as ours.

Yoorrook Deputy Chair Commissioner Travis Lovett invites everyone to join him on this 400-kilometre powerful journey. There are short and long Public Walk Sections that you can join for as little or as much as you like.

So come and join me on the Walk for Truth!
