Submission – Martin Williams

This submission details recent research into the “dispossession of Goulburn River Taungurung” and specifically that “a Peter Snodgrass conspired with Hugh Glass and Henry Johnson to close the Acheron Aboriginal Station that had been set up as a permanent settlement for the Goulburn River Taungurung in 1859. They went on to remove permanently the Taungurung from the Upper Goulburn in 1863.”
