Summary
The Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that provides culturally safe legal and community justice services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people across Victoria.
This submission examines and make recommendations related to: historical and contemporary injustices: the legacy of racism and violence; the lack 0f acceptance and implementation of past recommendations; and systemic injustices requiring urgent action.
