The purpose of these hearings was to gather evidence from representatives from a large number of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations; the Vice-Chancellors of Monash University, the University of Melbourne and Deakin University; and senior public servants, among other witnesses about health, education and housing injustice facing First Peoples.
This was the second of four weeks of hearings on social justice issues.
