“This premier, is a double dispossession” Yoorrook Deputy Chair Travis Lovett states in his opening remarks to Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan at yesterday’s Land, Sky and Water Hearings.

In his remarks, the Deputy Chair outlines the devastation of colonisation including the number of First Peoples in Victoria declining by 80% within the first 20 years of permanent European settlements.
